Circles Confuse Me

This is an abstract acrylic painting I created. There is a print called “Circumference Circumstances” that is somewhat of a sequel to this painting. Both reference how I feel as an autistic person navigating relationships. The irony of the name is that this painting doesn’t have any circles on it. Shapes like triangles and quadrilaterals represent the ease of knowing when things will end and understanding the rules. Circles represent the never ending confusion and cycles that I’ve dealt with in my relationships.
